SP Photo Station

Holiday Photo Programs, run end-to-end.

Santa season at 30 malls. Easter Bunny at 12 zoos. Holiday lights walk-throughs. SP Photo Station handles every stage from hiring your Santas in October through closing the books in February.

The shape of a holiday program

Running a holiday photo program is six months of preparation compressed into eight weeks of execution. You hire fifty Santas in October. You sign contracts, run background checks, schedule training. You coordinate with venue partners on setup dates, packup dates, electrical needs, and signage. You staff Saturdays 40-deep and Mondays empty. Weather kills your Wednesday and floods your Sunday. You print thousands of 5×7s on Mitsubishi paper. The last gift orders ship December 23rd. The first complaint email arrives on December 26th about a missing photo. By February, you're already negotiating next year's venue contracts.

Most operators run this on five tools and a spreadsheet. The gaps between them are where margin disappears.

How SP Photo Station fits

Six places the platform earns its license.

Burst staffing in one workflow

Post Santa and photographer roles per venue. Candidates apply through a hiring pipeline (applied → personality test → interview → offer → onboarding → hired). Generate offers auto-mailed with location and dates. E-sign contracts via multi-role signing with auto-mailed reminders. Filed automatically by year, template, and location.

Weekend-loaded scheduling that respects bookings

Create shifts in bulk, let staff claim or assign directly. Recurring weekend templates. When a shift needs to come down, the platform prevents you from orphaning customer bookings — Rule 2 enforcement blocks bulk cancellation of shifts with active reservations.

Inventory: §B.5

High-throughput capture across stations

USB-PTP tethered cameras feeding directly into the desktop workspace. Folder-watch ingestion for fixed-station setups. Local deduplication via advisory locks so adjacent stations never produce duplicate uploads. EXIF-level corruption detection on ingest.

Inventory: §B.1

Customer flow that doesn't queue up

Kiosk check-in on tablets at venue entrance. Slot derivation from your published schedule. Atomic double-booking prevention at the slot level. 4-stage visit lifecycle so you know exactly where every customer is in real time.

Hour-of-day analytics and weather correlation

Hour-of-day visit distribution against revenue and AOV. Historic sales tables paired with daily weather let you spot the patterns — Saturday-after-Thanksgiving demand by zip code, rainy-day attach-rate spikes, holiday-week peaks. Use last year's data to staff this year.

Inventory: §B.14

Print and ship without leaving the platform

Desktop print queue with drag-and-drop. Preset packages, copies per photo, printer selection. Composite rotation for Mitsubishi 6×8 portrait. Integrated off-site print-lab fulfillment when customers order larger formats post-event.

A typical holiday week on SP Photo Station

Monday morning — your regional manager pulls last week's revenue by venue, flags two locations underperforming AOV target. You DM the on-site managers via in-platform messaging; they respond before lunch.

Tuesday — three new Santas pass their personality test; the platform auto-issues offers, sends signing reminders. By end of day, two are signed and filed under 2026 / Staffing Template / Venue Name.

Friday evening — the platform sends Saturday's shift reminders. One Santa marks himself unavailable. Your set manager assigns the backup from your reliability-graded bench. The reassignment fires notifications to both Santas and the venue's appointment-confirmation emails update automatically.

Saturday — kiosk check-ins start at 9:55am for the 10am slot. Hour-of-day chart shows the 1pm peak you saw last year — you've already pre-staffed the third photographer. Last-photo of the day at 7:58pm; idle worker auto-completes any sessions left open by 8:30pm with the right session_completed_at timestamp (the last-photo timestamp, so your visit-duration metrics stay clean).

Sunday night — you generate a flash report. Your venue partner gets the KPI snapshot in their inbox by Monday's coffee.
